Treasure Hunters Find UFO On Seafloor

Swedish treasure hunters have made a strange discovery in the Baltic Sea. More than 250 below the surface, on the seafloor, they have discovered a large object they can’t explain. They captured images of the object with their side scanning sonar. Team member, Peter Lindberg, says it may be a UFO.

The object is the size of a jumbo jet and is disc-shaped. Another similar smaller object lies nearby. Both have drag marks stretching 400 feet. The team normally hunts for shipwrecks, but don’t believe these two objects to be any kind of ships they are familiar with.

Lindberg told CNN, “My first reaction was to tell the guys that we have a UFO here on the bottom.” He says some have likened the object to the Millennium Falcon from Star Wars.

Others speculate that the objects could be natural formations. Lindberg says even if this is the case it is still worth checking out. “The object itself is maybe not valuable in the sense of money it can be very interesting whatever it is, historical or a natural anomaly.”

Although finding out what is out there isn’t going to be an easy task. Lindberg says, “This thing is very far out, it’s really off-shore, so first of all we need a bigger ship… more equipment… and we have to do bottom sampling, water sampling, to see if it is something poisonous.”
